- Congresswoman @AOC is from Brooklyn. @RepPressley from Chicago (born in OH). @RepRashida is from Detroit. @IlhanMN was a refugee from Somalia, before she won election to Congress in Minnesota. They're all Americans, leading a new generation representing their constituents in DC.
- Check, meet balance: a federal judge rejected an argument from President Trump that a sitting @POTUS is immune from criminal investigations, allowing the Manhattan district attorney’s office to subpoena 8 years of Trump’s personal & corporate tax returns. nytimes.com/2019/10/07/nyr…
- Replying to @elonmuskData do show asymmetric polarization – but the opposite of this claim. The GOP has shifted to the far-right since the 1990s, embracing illiberalism & anti-democratic views. The Democratic Party has not shifted far-left. @TheEIU: economist.com/graphic-detail… x.com/vdeminstitute/…
- Replying to @digiphileAll along the northern edge of Lafayette Park, people are leaving signs & notes, & have woven in messages. It’s a striking, organic memorial, remaking the ugly new fencing as public art in a reclaimed space for passerby & protestors to honor remember the messages & people in them
- June 2020: @FoxNews runs faked news, producing digitally altered composite photos of Capitol Hill in Seattle: seattletimes.com/seattle-news/p… Fox retracted after @seattletimes contacted them. This goes beyond abysmal ethics. Fox made propaganda to support Trump’s lies about “terrorism.”
- Replying to @digiphileThe @ManhattanDA has hired a top prosecutor with deep expertise in investigating organized crime & racketeering to “follow the money” at @Trump: nytimes.com/2021/02/18/nyr… Tax fraud is likely to be the tip of the iceberg.
- Replying to @digiphile and @RudyGiulianiYou were once a US Attorney in @SDNYnews, but were never appointed US Attorney General nor served in that capacity. Why are you misrepresenting your public service?
- Replying to @digiphileIn 5 days, I expect @BarackObama will take back his Twitter account from @ofa. 80.5 million followers. 4x Trump's reach, for those counting.
- Replying to @JaclynLeeTV @BensalemPolice and @6abcBEWARE: As Halloween draws near, local news & police will fearmonger about our kids being given candy laced with THC, instead of holding local governments accountable for addressing risks from air pollution, housing, lead pipes & paint, cities made for cars, & school shootings.
- Replying to @PatrickRuffiniThey need to reach out to three-armed voters in an all-hands-on-deck moment?
- A reminder from one year ago today that most Americans come to our @USCapitol in peace, bearing ideas, questions, petitions, and pens. The walls outside of @AOC’s office were a memorial to love, not hate. To open expression, not closed denialism. I hope we can all return to it.Outside of some -— but far from all — of the offices of US representatives there sits a small desk with a guestbook. But there is only one office that looks like @RepAOC‘s.

- Dear tech press covering today's Facebook hearing: Please consider not mocking Members of Congress for not understanding the tech. The public also doesn't understand, and you're going to alienate them. Educate everyone, & report on why there's no Office of Technology Assessment.
