    How much good music is collecting dust in an artist's vault because we've made releasing music so stressful? What playlists am I going to get on? How many TikTok videos do i need to make? We need to get back to the music. Just upload it and let the internet do its thing.

    Something I keep seeing is ‘if you’re lucky enough to go viral, just use the exposure to generate income some other way’. Musicians should be able to generate income via their music. Do you want good music or do you want what you paid for?

    The process of releasing music is trending in the wrong direction. What playlists am I going to get on? How many tiktok videos do i need to make? Artists are spending more time marketing than making music.

    Overrated: selling out quickly Underrated: promoting a song till you can't promote it anymore Good music is good music regardless of how its selling. There are too many songs that get give up on too easily.
