I’ve built a bunch of workflows for my personal and household admin that are great but there’s something about the term ā€˜agentic parenting’ that makes me feel slightly ill.

I was lucky enough to repay my students loans quickly. The fact that rates on current loans don’t track the market is diabolical. Another weight on the young who are getting kicked left right and centre.

Being taught by Michele was one of the highlights of my time at Imperial. Amazing appointment and let’s be honest, ā€˜Astronomer Royal’ is an insanely cool job title.

šŸ‘‘ Congratulations to @ImperialPhysics's Professor Michele Dougherty, the next Astronomer Royal and first woman to hold the title! First created in 1675 to aid sea navigation, the honorary role is appointed by the King to provide advice and expertise šŸ”½ imperial.ac.uk/news/266833/pr…

NEW: we often talk about an age divide in politics, with young people much less conservative than the old. But this is much more a British phenomenon than a global one. 40% of young Americans voted Trump in 2020. But only 10% of UK under-30s support the Conservatives. Why?
