- Yakivlivka near Kharkiv today. A small village blown to bits. At least two dead here, countless lives ruined.
00:00 - Just got into Ivankiv. A town cut off from the outside world until yesterday when a temporary bridge enabled access. Horrifying accounts of shootings, rapes, etc. Hospital trying to save injured with no electricity or running water.
00:00 - Appalling scenes in the village of Dmytrivka near Kyiv today. Civilians scavenging for discarded ration packs amid smouldering wreckage of at least 11 Russian armoured vehicles. Bodies of Russian tank crews burnt and disfigured. Grim beyond words.
- Looks like a lot of people choosing to leave Kharkiv right now. Seeing many more cars going out than we’ve seen over the last 3 days. I suspect the missile strike this morning in Freedom Sq has left many in no doubt the city faces bleak days ahead.
