    Gavin Wood invented the EVM and Solidity programming language. EVM and Solidity are now on most layer-1 chains. Gavin stopped working on the EVM & Solidity, and went on to invent @Polkadot and @substrate_io, enabling a universe of customized, connected layer-1s. It's coming.
