After 2 years, I finally come back to the #IBMResarch Cambridge office. The NEW office is much nicer than the OLD one🔥🔥. It's on the MIT campus so it can significantly reduce the collaboration distance (DISTANCE ALWAYS MATTERS).

🔥 Just had our first oral presentation done at #ACL2023NLP jointly with my student @BingshengY for our new paper "Are Human Explanations Always Helpful?" TLDR: We propose a new TREU metric to auto-eval the quality of human-crafted explanations (for future data labeling tool.)

It’s my honor to co-lead the IBM Human-Centered Natural Language Interaction strategy. There are many exciting papers coming out at ACL/CHI/NAACL/CSCW/IUI/etc. later this year. These works demonstrate “bridging the HCI and AI research community.”
