it sucks when your region is basically living as a donor organ to a country that hates it and actively wants to totally defund and destroy its basic infrastructure all while you pay taxes to net subsidize up the rest of the country’s unsustainable car-centric lifestyle
A lot folks forget that a 2 hour flight is actually 5-6 hours - an hour to get to the airport, 90+ minutes of TSA and boarding, 2 hours in flight, another hour dealing with ground transportation to the destination. A 6 hour high speed train is a competitive replacement.
