- Got some major updates coming up in January/February. These include analytics, a whole new homepage + feature pages, a simpler signup/payment process and a refreshed UI (including light mode). There is more, so keep your eyes peeled.

- If you're wondering why your Internet doesn't work right now - Cloudflare is having a global DNS outage. You can swap 1.1.1.1 to 76.76.2.0 (Control D) to restore connectivity.

- Here are the results of last night's anycast network upgrades. This was phase 1. Expect further reductions in the future.
- Control D average DNS latency is officially better than Google. This puts us into the top 3 anycast DNS providers world wide. @DNSFilter we're coming for that #1 :)
- New version of the ctrld utility is released. Major changes include running as a system service, caching, ephemeral mode, Control D custom config mode, and automatic DNS assignment on network interface. Next big release will include router auto-setup.
- We've seen an influx of NextDNS users expressing interest in Control D, so this article is meant to address all the questions we've encountered so far.
- Fun fact: If you use the Ads & Trackers filter in Relaxed mode, it will allow affiliate and email tracking links to load. When the "redirect" Default Rule is enabled, these links, along with all your browsing activity will be proxied, masking your IP address, almost like a VPN.
