i thought bay area would be a nice place to grow up/raise kids because of the good food, weather, and communities but hearing from people who actually grew up there it’s ultra competitive/stressful/not diverse? whats the take on best places to grow up in then?

it’s not that people in college lose ambition its that in hs, you succeed when you’re good at being reactive—exams, competitions but you might not know how to be proactive—start something going to cushy job looks like lost ambition, but really you just continued being reactive

my instructor was handing back papers. each person went to her, said name, and she looked through all papers for it. my sis and i were like this is O(N^2) time. IS THERE A MORE EFFICIENT SOLUTION?!SURELY WE MUST BE ABLE TO DO THIS IN O(N) TIME !¡!
