Aldi’s non alcoholic mulled “wine” warm, in a mug, with an orange slice is working wonders for my hellish cold. OH just told me he couldn’t get any so I’ve been drinking the alcoholic version since 05:30 this morning 🤦‍♀️

Mum died 18m ago Im waiting to do as she wished with her ashes (C19) I found her tube of ashes on top of daughters packed boxes for uni. “Grans coming with me, she hasn’t had a holiday for years and she can see the sea from my window - don’t worry, I’ll bring her back at Xmas” 🤦‍♀️

There is no emergency care in the private sector. I find it difficult to believe that over 350 people (Tory MPs) their immediate family and relatives have not experienced A+E as it is now. Is there a secret VIP lane for them or have they experienced it and told to hush? 🤷‍♂️

I’m a colorectal Consultant. In 2 weeks I’m going to start operating on that brain thing. All’s fine. I did some brain stuff at med school over 20 years ago. I’m sure it will come back to me (if not, I can always post my questions on my insta account). It’s been a piece of piss

Oh mate 🤦‍♀️ If I’ve spent 5y at med school; 8y+ training operate Jump through every possible hoop every single year You bet I feel entitled to operate compared to a person with a 2 year unaccredited qualification I suspect the public want a fully trained entitled safe surgeon also

How can the GMC regulate PAs when a Dr has to return to the patient + repeat the hx + examination? How can NHS Trusts continue to pay a PA salary when all their work has to be repeated by a lesser paid Dr? Every-time Forever Surely the MPTS outcome now ends the PA project

I think a young girl, terrified she’d broke this law, allowed herself to get in the back of a police car without thinking it was strange he was on his own etc should be front and centre to all those who think law breaking by the elite doesn’t matter. RIP Sarah Everard

In light of resignations and RCGP statement - the gmc need to withdraw from regulating PAs They just can’t continue down this path, no matter what they’ve been promised It will be a difficult U-turn, but it needs to happen

Well I’ve hit the part in Breathtaking where we discharged everyone we could to care homes under an ill thought out directive. To die. To spread the virus and kill others. This is the guilt that will never leave me and it’s a fucking hard watch.
