Indeed. One day @YouTubeCreators needs to explain to me how someone watching a complete video of mine, while eating lunch and adding a couple comments, is fair use. Meanwhile using a few seconds clip of something from @Disney can be an instant and irreversible copyright strike.
This doesnβt even begin to cover the outright stealing on Facebook video. Or, βreactβ channels where no-talent hacks add a few laughs or nods side-by-side with the original content.
React channels talk like they are content promotors while their actions reveal them to be content leaches.
So frustrating.
Playing an entire video and saying βcoolβ a couple of times is not fair use and I wish @YouTube would take this more seriously.
Accidentally starting a chat with GPT 3.5 instead of 4.0 feels like accidentally striking up a conversation with the village idiot.
A village idiot that a year ago was state of the art.
I cannot believe what I'm watching on the live stream to pick the new Minnesota flag: mnhs-org.zoom.us/webinar/registβ¦
They introduced a ton of new flags, making up rules as they go, arguing how to even vote, while trying to rush a meeting by 5PM for a flag that could last 100 YEARS!
There is discussion about adding the word "Minnesota" to these designs or changing the shape of the K to better match the shape of the state.
I think I need to stop watching this stream for my health and just go to bed and find out what happened tomorrow. Good luck MN!
