Rather than a land acknowledgment, something I've found to work better is a "land history" segment to begin a teach-in or workshop, where you talk about land/building/house/neighborhood you're in, in all its complexity and how it connects to your topic that day. Eg:

My TL today is rife w instances of state violence against children — whether it’s drowning them in Rio Grande, letting them burn in the Angola Prison, or surveilling them swimming. It’s not just that future generations will inherit climate collapse, but they’ll be it’s target.

Several children were caught breaking into one of the many Baltimore City pools that remain closed with their gates chained. The break-in was caught on Monday. Footage details the children breaking in, setting up "camp", and entering the water along with a scooter.
