From testing of DRDO and Dr Reddy Lab's 2-DG (2-deoxy-D-glucose) on coronavirus in cell culture at CCMB to successfully clearing the phase 3 trials, it will now be used on moderate to severe COVID-19 patients. DCGI approval has come.
Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for preparedness against the pandemic, the DRDO took the initiative of developing anti-Covid therapeutic application of 2-DG
DCGI gives emergency approval of DRDO-developed anti-Covid oral drug

    3. Our main focus as a community should be on reducing the spread of coronavirus. The more it spreads, the more variants come up, the more mess we create by increasing uncertainties and fear. So, see 👇🏾

    2. Though in controlled cell culture this variant makes more copies, it does not necessarily mean that it can compete with other variants just the same way in a real life pandemic where new variants keep coming up. Our genome studies say that N440K is now diminishing (2/3) More👇🏾
