This is exactly it, they always assume weโre mad bc theyโre black but weโre mad bc of how theyโre acting and what their culture permisses. If a culture believes they deserve to bully people into doing what they want, then we will judge their culture whether they like it or not
Oh but the book is so good though. The cover is a reference of a scene in the book. The main character is full body-paralyzed and she had a goldfish that jumped out of its fishbowl and she was unable to help it as it suffocated. Devastating moment of the book
