My sister once missed uni because she was forming feminist and grown at 18. 😂 We kept getting reports that she refused to do chores at home and always said I’m 18, I’m grown. She later got admission into a private uni, but me & my brothers refused to pay her tuition that year.

What is it about women's financial independence that makes people think it's negotiable, when everyone understands that money is how you get by in this world? I hate how women have to justify why they should have money or work.

It can be traced to how boys are raised around food. Always being catered to, with no expectations of reciprocity makes them grow into inconsiderate men. Food and cooking have been treated as something a man deserves and has a right to which fosters a sense of entitlement.

There’s an interesting convo on TikTok right now of how men weaponize food against women: the cooking, the gluttonous overeating and being inconsiderate, etc etc. Women are sharing stories of the men around them eating up food in the home with no consideration of others. Whew.

If misogyny is truly a turn-off for you, there won't be that many men to sleep with and it's not purity culture when women are selective about sleeping with this type of men, even casually.

Manipulation comes too easily to religious people and it likely has to do with how they defer their actions to a third party and the carelessness that comes from believing forgiveness is a right.

Girls in homes that don't value them because they are not sons should be able to distance themselves from their parents and not feel obligated to care for them in any way.

Do you think women don't internalize posts that call them inferior, which are constantly propagated in both secular & religious spaces? Or how the female form is inherently considered sinful. The back-to-back male violence, the laws that restrict women's freedom to exist fully.

I'm crying because people are digging up that pastor's old tweets and discovering things and the people he tagged in his lewd tweets have 'dads' in their bios. 😭😭 Men don't even bother to rebrand, yet they have women worried about their digital footprint. 🤣

When you gender children's behaviour, you let boys get away with things you scold girls for and vice versa. Climbing out of a crib isn't 'boy behaviour'; it's just a child exploring mobility. Some babies are more active than others, regardless of whether they're boys or girls.
