    3yrs ago today my 28yr old physician brother passed away from an MI/CVA...in part from lack of regular follow up w severe HTN and poor lifestyle like many in our field. In this new year - pls take care of yourselves. We give so much to others but so often neglect our own health

    I don’t often share personal family related things on twitter but will make an exception here - As some of you know, my 28yr old brother, FM resident, passed away unexpectedly last year of an MI/CVA. My brother, Sey, was very passionate about many things but he deeply care about

    In the midst of everything our 👦🏻 graduated 🎓 from Kindergarten- after coming early at 26 wks/2.2lbs i didn’t know if you would ever walk/talk or live a normal life - you have exceeded & passed all expectations and are a bright joyful center of our universe - we ❤️ u!

    Wanted to share this as a pick me up in light of all the awfulness this week Our 👦🏻 former 26wk/2.2lb 👶 can now ride 🚲 on his own. Considering when he was born i didn’t know if he would be even close to “normal” i shed tears of joy...@DrMarthaGulati @DrJenniferCo_Vu

    Our 7yr old 👦🏻 figured out he can text me from his ipad...this is the 1st text he sent me all on his own❤️ My heart is full. This work/life/family juggle is hard...the little things like this help us stay positive😍
