I remember I was 6 years old playing with frend in park we were experimenting with and torturing worms after rain; an older blond very athletic boy came by and beat us to a pulp left me with bloody lip. He said he understands worms are disgusting but it’s not OK to torture them.

In Buenos Aires last I knew many of the small supermarkets were owned by Chinese. They’re called “chinos”; I asked friend why they took over this niche. They cut cost to the bone: family sleeps in supermarket. Use slave labor if you have to go outside family. Turn off electricity
