Our town cancelled senior prom pretty early in the year, so a bunch of parents got pissed, raised money, and we’re putting one on tonight anyway. People and local businesses were so generous everything is free for the kids and we have amazing raffle prizes. Communities FTW.

I will go to my grave believing that counting down the days until this aired on TV, understanding that you had one shot at watching it for an entire year, and savoring every moment when it was on the screen, is infinitely better than having it on demand and available 24/7/365.
