If you have an iPhone, you can get widgetsmith on the app store and try this. Make a folder in photos for ‘adiyah and create a widget on the home screen so you can recite whatever comes up ان شاء الله
I don’t think men understand how scary they sound when raising their voices. Being calm isn’t just an admirable trait, it’s very much required in interactions with women. I hate to sound weak but such harshness from a man can make a woman tremble in fear.
i actually quite like islamic affirmations like these:
- I am exactly where i’m supposed to be according to His Qadr
- I have been uniquely designed for a purpose
- My thoughts & opinions are valuable
- I focus on what I can control & leave the rest to Him
I’ve spent a lot of time wondering how the sahaba رضي الله عنهم managed to live on little sleep. How did little naps sustain them, strengthen them? Then I started slowly realising that crying is a very effective way to attain deep sleep.
i like hearing about women being shown affection by their husbands in ways that honour their intellect & interests.
this is one take that i can’t quite articulate & will have to rely on emotional sentence structure only:
really admire and respect people who are careful while addressing their blessings- no speaking about their wealth in front of the poor, not mentioning parents in front of the orphan, no spousal talk in front of one’s suffering/ unmarried, v general examples but idea

Someone once told me ‘there will come a time when you will look back & remember these initial times, you will want that level of imaan back but remember that in every stage of your life, you’ll have different trials, always pray for a higher state of imaan, not for the state in
"After healing from your obsession with social media, you will find that many have surpassed you, some in memorizing the Quran, some in mastering Tajweed, some in memorizing texts, and others in excelling in various arts. Meanwhile, you are stuck in front of your phone
I think everyone, especially unmarried girls should fast a lot. Fast Mondays, Thursdays, white days, recommended days in certain months. Fast the way of Dawud عليه السلام. Once you’re married, you need your husband’s permission to fast so take advantage of this time ان شاء الله.
Sisters, make up your fasts asap. Making up missed ones + another week you can’t fast + 6 days in shawwal will take up a lot of days in the month, keep a buffer for if you get sick/ tired/ unable to fast. Make them up quickly ان شاء الله may Allah make it easy آمين
