If you were 1 of the 9 new folk who signed up to listen to my Audio book yesterday, many thanks. If ye didnae, whit's keepin ye? The history of a language spoken by 1.5 million Scots, which celebrates a brilliant literary pedigree going back 1000 years.

The bland all grey kit doesnae help either. No definition it to it. Hearts looked as if they were against a team playing in their pyjamas.

An embarrassing afternoon for @dundeeunitedfc - we looked like what we are…16 strangers. Dodgy defense, blunt attack and a malfunctioning midfield with poor, inaccurate passing. A game gifted to a makeshift Hearts team who seized it with relish. And Celtic up next FFS!

And to prove it’s really me, here’s one of my all time favourite passages from Scottish literature. I got Sunset Song as a school prize when I was 15, and came out of it a different person. You can listen to me reading both Scots The Mither Tongue and Born in Kyle on Audible.
