It’s #NationalTrainDriverDay! I love my job so much and I’m not shy about it either! I feel so at home in this little cab 🥰 Also a very happy National Train Driver Day to all my fellow front-seaters - past, present and future 🤩

I’ve only been driving trains for 10 days, and they have been the most fun 10 days of my life. 💖 I just cannot believe I’m finally here, finally doing it, for real, and I’m loving it and - somebody stop me, I’m going to cry. 🥰 Forever grateful to those that made it happen ❤️

Somewhere on Wessex Route right now, a certain #FreightTrain is being driven expertly, and to time, towards their relieving point by an absolute champ who I’m so proud of. Can’t wait to see how it’s gone in about 30 mins! 🙌

As a freight driver, I always make a point of looking back along my train. It’s not just about checking the wagons and brakes, it’s also about making sure everyone on the platform is safe as 2142ft of freight rolls through. 🤘 Thank you for this photo @Ewanmacey1 💖
