I feel an immense sadness tonight at the news of the terrible mounting death toll at the Dead Sea after today's flash flood. My thoughts and deepest condolences go to the families of the victims. I also salute the efforts of the rescuers from Civil Defence. #البحر_الميت

Tonight, upon completion of my duties, the empty spot at the end of the second row will be filled. I was very proud of this first ambassadorship in Jordan and yet I am humbled to come after so many great diplomats. What stays is the strength of the 🇨🇵🇯🇴 relationship. مع السلامة!

#NotreDame There are really no words right now - except to thank all Jordanians, friends and colleagues, who have been sending messages of support and sorrow in the past hours. Best proof that this is not just about Paris or France but our shared humanity. Heartwarming really.

#EidMubarak to my Jordanian followers. For me, it was a day of adventure more than festivities, yet a day of wonderful family memories in #Wadi Ghuweir, near Shobak. From a siq to suspended gardens, this wadi has it all. Great assistance from @RSCNJordan, as always. #أردننا_جنة

My last #14Juillet in #Amman, after 4 years. Always glad to see so many Jordanian and international friends, along with my compatriots. Sad to leave such a beautiful country and its people, of course. Vive l'amitié franco-jordanienne 🇨🇵🇯🇴 , vive la République, vive la France!

For 4 years during my stay in 🇯🇴, I had been looking for my old pictures of my 1st trip to the country - unsuccessfully. And suddenly tonight, in a shoebox, here they are! 14 years ago almost to the day... It was 🥶 in #Petra. It would snow the day after this picture was taken.
