- We all have been wondering how good is #AlphaFold for protein design. Cool work from @CasperGoverde and @bene837 in our lab shows that it can work. They tried one of the most beautiful de novo designed proteins TOP7. Looking good in the test tube!
- It has been my pleasure to be around such a great crowd of scientists and human beings ! thank you for all the good things throughout the yearsHuge congrats to our dear Bruno @befcorreia Correia for achieving tenure at the @EPFL_en: as of this October 1, he is Associate Professor of Bioengineering! Lucky us at @EPFL_BioE: now we can look forward to many more years with such a gem of a Colleague! actu.epfl.ch/news/bruno-corโฆ
- I guess extraordinary things can happen to ordinary people... honored, humbled and super excited to join the cohort of 22-23 @RadInstitute @Harvard for a year of adventure and exchange of ideas. Thanks for all the support @EPFL_en @epflSV @EPFLEngineering @EPFL_BioEFrom robotic fish to a novel-in-progress inspired by Amelia Earhart, Radcliffeโs new 2022โ2023 class of fellows will come from 14 countries to pursue an incredible range of important projects. radcliffe.harvard.edu/news-and-ideasโฆ
- What is up ... @Harvard ? I guess I found my new borrowed home for the next 9 months. Thank you for the warm welcome @RadInstitute with a touch of swiss chocolate. I look forward for all that interdisciplinary magic !!!
- Our last explorations with MaSIF and surface fingerprints for the computational design of de novo protein-protein interactions ! A lot of hard work from Pablo, @AKVanHall, Sarah, Andrea, Anthony, @mmbronstein and collaborators
- Very happy for the efforts of @pgainza and @FreyrSverrisson and also an awesome collaboration with @mmbronstein ! Looking forward for the next chapters!MaSIF, a tool from @befcorreia and colleagues, utilizes geometric deep learning to predict protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions. nature.com/articles/s4159โฆ
- Excited to see this out ! Wonderful design by @pgainza and great collaboration with our @unil @OncoUNILCHUV @Ludwig_Cancer colleagues! Looking forward for the next iterations!A computationally designed chimeric antigen receptor provides a small-molecule safety switch for T-cell therapy go.nature.com/2u6baMX
- Unusual approach for our lab - fantastic work from @pgainza + @Freyer02952299 and fun collaboration with @mmbronstein on using learning techniques for Deciphering interaction fingerprints from protein molecular surfaces". Take a look.

- Honored and happy for trying to teach some of the cool stuff that makes our life exciting every day! And was great fun the @epflSV event today with great friends and colleagues @MBlokesch @elisa_oricchioAnother important awardee at today's @EPFL_en graduation: colleague and friend Prof. Bruno Correia @befcorreia received the @epflSV eduction section award for this outstanding teaching. So well deserved! We are happy to have you, Bruno. Big congratulations!! ๐๐พ #magistrale
- Clearly remember the hits discovered by @befcorreia and the big @EPFL_en @epflSV joint effort spanning structural determination, biophysics, and assays @MartinPacesa @DongchunNi @LabStahlberg @Turelli_EPFL @AlexaTeslenko @LCBM_EPFL and everyone twitterless Iโve missed! ๐
- Totally cool guys ! Thatโs what happens when people take the lead ! Projects take a life of their own!!! Well done !We at LPDI are happy to announce that dMaSIF site is now available on Google Colab thanks to @hamed_khakzad @rneschneuing @befcorreia.
