    Due to our community's recent tragedy, we want to remind everyone of the Safe Surrender Baby Law. This law allows distressed birth parent(s) to legally, confidentially and safely surrender their baby within 3 days of birth to any fire station or emergency room within our county.

    #Missing teen Aspen Ray was last seen on 8/25 at 1PM in the 4100 blk of Brittany St. Described as a white female, 17, 5’8”/110 lbs, blonde hair/green eyes, with a cross shaped scar on her right wrist. Anyone with info on Ray’s whereabouts is asked to call (661) 327-7111.

    Two BPD detectives saw a woman struggling to push a baby stroller.  They went to check her welfare and discovered the stroller didn’t contain a child… but instead held over 6K in coins taken in a burglary. The woman, Darrin Fritz, was arrested for burglary and other charges.

    Queue the #pig jokes 🐷😎 At about 7:30AM, we responded to a piglet in the parking lot of Adventist Hospital. As the little guy ran around, causing a traffic hazard, units were assisted by Premier Pool Service & their handy pool skimmer. Piglet is doing well and out of traffic 👍
