    * helped launch ethereum * launched the first Ethereum Wallet and Web3 Browser. * coded one of the first ERC20 tokens, DAO, token sale and NFT (ENS!) contracts, and they were used as templates in the Ethereum home. * spent 2 years promoting ENS as a primary means of login

That’s why Tesla is right about banning remote work. I know a guy who claims to work for Tesla but also has a gig at a Telcom, at a freight company, does a side job digging holes, sells medical implants AND trades crypto. But he spends most of his time shitposting on twitter.

A math problem was solved in a random 4chan anime thread by an anonymous user. Mathematicians are not sure how to cite it.

A curious situation. The best known lower bound for the minimal length of superpermutations was proved by an anonymous user of a wiki mainly devoted to anime. mathsci.wikia.com/wiki/The_Haruh…

Guy also had a temp gig selling perfume, hats and flamethrowers on the internet. I heard he lost a ton of money trading stocks and dog tokens. Dude spends so much time in twitter that he bought it.

So in short the DAO hacker used: * Shapeshift to convert ETC to BTC * Wasabi to mix the BTC * 4 Different central exchanges * Withdrawn to Grin for added privacy And yet he was a found. Thanks to chain analysis, insider cooperation and the hacker’s ego. It only takes one error.

The premature passing of Nikolai Mushegian is a very sad day for Crypto. * Founded MakerDAO * Discovered the reentrancy attack before The DAO and whitehatted Maker to prevent a hack * Developed WETH * Founded Balancer * Donated 1.4M to Carnegie Mellon for DeFi research

ENS is a complex system made of multiple contracts (I found 16 so far). This ensures we can freeze some parts and update others, limiting the scope of the damage a single error can do. The downside is that it’s very hard for one person to get a grasp of the whole. Until now.

1M bitcoins, never moved. Sorry, I believe in principle over money, but I’m not naive to think $30-40 Billion wouldn’t bulge any person or group. Satoshi isn’t waiting for privacy tech to improve, he isn’t holding for the “right” moment. Satoshi has been dead for many years.

A good friend told me he had six Ukrainians in his dev team. I asked if they were safe: -it’s complicated. Most don’t want to get out, they want to stay and fight. Those were nerds who about a week ago were doing blockchain development work. Crazy.

I have written about 30 pages telling a first person account of the DAO hack. What should I do with it? Post in Medium in multiple parts? Make available as an e-book? Just dump the whole thing in a GitHub repo? Would anyone be interested in reading it?

Because of KYC "security" laws, now a bunch of ICOs, many of which will end up dead and broke, have in their servers a collection of photos of passports and a throve very private information about crypto owners. How's that for "security"?
