Why is there a grown-ass man, who happens to be Lackawanna's head coach, trash-talking an ACM pitcher just trying to post highlights to get a 4-year opportunity? If you have an issue take it up with the opposing coaches, don't belittle a kid. Just my thoughts.

Final: Allegany 2, Perryville 0 For the first time in school history, the Campers are in the boys soccer state championship game. I believe Allegany is also the 1st team in area history to begin a season 18-0, but I’ll have to check later this week to make sure.

For the 1st time in 35 years, Allegany is a baseball state champion. Justin Wakefield catches a runner trying to steal 2nd for the final out. Allegany takes down St Michaels, 6-2, for the 1A title. Campers finish 18-4, winning 15 of their final 16 games

Final: Allegany 9, Boonsboro 1 Allegany completes a 22-0 season with the 1A state championship. It’s Alco’s 4th in school history and 2nd in 3 years. What a legacy these seniors leave behind.

Final: Allegany 1, Mardela 0 Allegany (21-0) is on the state championship game. Mardela falls to 24-1. Abi Britton hit a solo HR in the 1st inning, and she struck out the final 6 Mardela batters to end it. Unreal performance from one of the best players in our area’s history.

A parent from a local softball team I’ve never heard of called to complain about lack of coverage. Sending results, a schedule or a roster is a nice start 😂 Of course that would require effort on someone’s part. It’s our fault, of course

Cumberland takes states! Landon McAlpine squeezes a hot shot back to the mound, and Post 13 strands the tying and winning runs on base. Fort Cumberland beats Wicomico, 7-6, for its first state title since 1976. post 13 will play in the regionals in Morgantown from Aug 2-6
