Securing the future of Critically Endangered angel sharks across their range

- A few days ago, we carried out a field campaign in the south of Lanzarote with @rubicondiving to acoustically tag two angelsharks. These studies will help us better understand how angelshark populations use the Lobos corridor and, in turn, improve their protection.
- Last week, we survey the largest angelshark nursery, Las Teresitas, thanks to Fundaci贸n Santa Cruz Sostenible & Cepsa. 馃 Recaptured a few pups, showing they stay for over a year. Las Teresitas offers shelter & food!
- The first angelshark reported in 2025! On January 1st of this year, the first Angelshark was reported in Abades, Tenerife. Remember to report your sightings on our sightings map. These reports help us learn more about the ecology and biology of this species. 馃摳Naroe G贸mez
