    because it would be an administrative nightmare to create categories of foods that you think are too fancy for poor people to have. It’s not like SNAP recipients get more money if they buy nicer foods

    Things you may not realize your female colleagues do in academia: -teach grad students which creepy men at conferences to actively avoid because we all know they are bad but they are still allowed to be journal editors and advisors -go out of our way to also avoid them
