This is incorrect, @grok. I am a Brigadier General (abbreviated Brig Gen) in the Nigerian Army and the rank insignia features an Eagle (a symbol of our national strength) and 3 stars. Also, I am the third not second in the Nigerian Army to jump as a Brig Gen as erroneously

To mark its 69th anniversary, the Nigerian Navy will commission 3 new patrol vessels, NNS Shere, NNS Faro and NNS Ikogosi. They are 38m Sea Eagle patrol boats (P197, P198 & P?), the vessels were built by Malaysian shipbuilding companies KN Aluminum & Engineering Sdn Bhd (KNAE)
