- PhDone!! Thank you @UMCES for a wonderful last five years. Now on to a postdoc at @NASAGoddard to support the upcoming @NASAOcean PACE mission 🛰️📷🌊
- Interested in using #drones to study marsh migration? Check out our new paper published in @FrontRSens: doi.org/10.3389/frsen.…. We applied #machinelearning techniques to differentiate & monitor Spartina veg over time at Poplar Island, a wetland restoration site in Chesapeake Bay
- Want to measure ocean color from drones (to get chlorophyll-a or turbidity or other WQ parameters), but not quite sure where to start or need best practices? Check out our detailed methods paper on robust OC from drones out in @aslo_org L&O: Methods aslopubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/lo…
- Had fun flying #drones over a #cyanobacteria bloom in Lake Erie at a hyperspectral drone demonstration organized by ACT. Drone sensors included @ResononHSI, @HySpexNEO, & @MicaSense. The team also collected hyperspectral data from a crewed @NOAA_GLERL flight & boat.
