I got offered a "volunteer assistant" job 23 years ago. I looked at my wife and two little girls and had to say no. They needed to eat. The limit discriminates against young coaches with families. It hurts the game.
Well the NCAA votes “NO” to add the third paid assistant. What a disgrace. Hopefully parents and players say “NO” to the schools/conferences that voted “NO”. The players and coaches deserved a “YES” vote.
