Very disappointed for the clean athletes who have to deal with the repercussions of this decision. Oh well, beating the cheaters straight up is more fun anyway🤷🏼♀️
Sometimes you just miss your turn. It happens to all of us. Maybe not at worlds......but it has happened to every swimmer out there. Glad I have the most supportive team in the world to keep me going!
Random #Swimming fact of the day: Lilly King’s final 50 split of 30.39 in this morning’s 200 breast prelims at Big Tens is faster than what Indiana teammate Ian Finnerty closed in to win the men’s NCAA title last year (30.43) @IndianaSwimDive#B1GSD
From being my hero in 2012, to my roommate in 2016, I’ll never forget how you welcomed me with open arms as very scared newbie to Team USA. Wouldn’t have made it through Rio without you😉 Congrats on a hell of a career, Miss!
This was perhaps the hardest letter I’ve ever had to write. There are so many words to say and I thank you all for letting me share them with you, and for your continued support. Today, I announce my retirement from competitive swimming. es.pn/2QFI29m
3 years ago you were sitting in the stands watching me make the Olympic Team, only dreaming of one day racing at Trials. Can’t wait to watch you swim at the craziest meet in the world! Proud of you bud. #hemadeit#Omaha2020#KingSiblings2020
