- Tigers beat Mayo 4-1 to win the section 1 AAAA championship and advance to state!!! What a great group of guys! So proud of what they accomplished!!!
- In his first appearance in a varsity game, junior pitcher Joe Baldus pitched a complete game NO-HITTER!!! A 6-0 win over Burnsville! Can’t remember another one in at least the last 27 years of FHS baseball! 7 IP 0 hits 11 K’s 2 BB 89 pitches Congratulations on making history!
- Tigers beat Minnetonka 3-2 to advance to the AAAA Championship game at Target Field, Friday at 7 PM. Dohrmann picks up the complete game win, striking out 6 and giving up only 2 hits! Only 1 batter reached base after the first inning!!! Unbelievable!
- Tigers beat South 3-0 in the Section 1AAAA Final to advance to state for a chance to defend their state title! Frost only needed 70 pitches to pick up the win! Defense was unbelievable again!
- I know our guys really like playing together… but, I think they’ve taken it to a new level = The Buddy System of Baseball… where we are always there for each other and have each other’s back!
- Borlik was lights out in relief, as he was all year! He pitched 4.2 innings, giving up 2 hits, 2 BB and striking out 3 giving up 0 runs! He finished the year with… 26.2 innings pitched and a 0.00 ERA- a record that will never be broken! Congrats young man!
- Tigers win the coin flip and will be home team vs Park when we play in the AAAA Championship, Friday at 7:00 PM at Target Field!
- Amazing what this team has accomplished! I’m honored to have been able to coach them! They’ve left a legacy for others to emulate… play for each other, play the right way, true pillar guys- teamwork, integrity, perseverance and sportsmanship! Thank you all! Great season fellas!
- Congratulations to Korey Dahlberg on being selected to the 2021 Star Tribune Second Team All-Metro team! What a year!
- Tigers are headed back to state after we beat New Prague, 1-0 with another walk-off, this time in the 7th. There were 2 outs when Carlson singled, followed by Larson’s infield single and then this ball put in play by Berreth which eventually scored Carlson from 2B…
