I set out to build something that mattered with @HoopHabitsMN . This feature with Valiant CEO gave me a chance to talk about where it really started. The lessons, the setbacks, and the work that happens long before anyone’s paying attention.

We have truly entered into a generation where kids don’t compete and play hard, even when college coaches are watching, because they feel entitled to scholarships and roster spots at the next level. It’s going to be a tough revelation for current high school hoopers.

3 years, 3 different circuits, 3 top 5 finishes for the 2027 group. Finished the summer going 26-4. Year 1 of @HoopHabitsMN has been awesome watching our teams compete locally and nationally. Grateful to everyone involved and looking forward to continuing to grow the program!
