    Both my mom and I share a birthday. It was probably annoying for her when I was little- but as an adult it was fun. We shared one last birthday a couple days ago. Her struggle is over and our family is just so very sad. Thank you all for the kinds words.

    It was unbelievably moving today to see 1000s of people wish Bunsen a happy birthday on Twitter. He was trending in 🇨🇦, the states and internationally. The outpouring of love for this dog makes my heart sing. His account, that promotes science and kindness, makes us all better.

    Bunsen has given our family so much. He’s a hero, he’s saved Beaker and a lost dog from the cold. We’ve heard countless stories about how because of him, they are here today. The universe doesn’t work this way, but whatever grace there is to spare, he needs it.

    Kinda feel if you told me two years ago I’d be using my dog’s Twitter account to defend and promote science and getting hate mail because of it, I probably wouldn’t believe you. But I just had to explain to a human that there isn’t microchips in vaccines so anything is possible

    21 years ago I found a partner who loved Transformers, Science, Dogs and nerd culture. I consider myself lucky that this adorable, intelligent and compassionate woman shares her life with me. Happy Anniversary Kris (aka Mommyfav)

    My school has now made the painful decision to go back online for two weeks. With cases rising and a yo-yo of kids isolating, online and in person teaching and endless modifications, it was the right choice. Teachers are burnt out as hell. Pawsitive? Guest lecturers Monday.

    Our family has a spare bedroom if you need it to get ketchup chips. Canada has ketchup chips, we heard you can’t get them everywhere in the states. We can’t guarantee a dog won’t sleep on you though and we don’t have cable. Free wifi though, obviously.
