She's seen his face before- Replying to @TypeRamzaArcher mirrors her own regrets about her past almost perfectly. She's basically looking at what she could become if she holds onto that regret. That and when you realize the adorable heroic boy turns into a jaded man who wants to die, it's heartbreaking.
