The staff in Ward 1 at WGH were awarded our Team of The Month Award for the care and compassion the team have continued to demonstrate for our cancer patients through some extremely busy times. They have shown great teamwork and flexible to maintain timely access to treatment.

Team of the month at the WGH - Ward 20 ICU - Recognised for continuing to deliver high standards of care with utmost professionalism at all times. They strive to deliver patient centred care as well as having dealt with a recent fire.

Delighted to confirm the appointment of Dr Kath Anderson as Associate Medical Director for Medicine at WGH. Kath will be taking up the role straight away as part of strenghtening medical leadership across the site amd wider lothian system @DrKTA1 @NHS_Lothian
