Special moment today as we welcomed William Haworth back to playing Grassroots football after 2 years of ongoing treatment.
Deserved guard of honour to celebrate the occasion, William was diagnosed with metastatic medulloblastoma (type of malignant brain tumour).
The club has learned that goalkeeper Ethan Gannon has gone into hospital and been placed in an induced coma. A lumbar puncture was taken to test for meningitis but his illness is as yet undiagnosed. @PaulHalsey1 will be kept abreast of developments. Meanwhile we wish Ethan well.
