I kind of wish I never read Kathryn Paige Hardenβs book The Genetic Lottery. Once you fully grok the implication that you can genotype a baby - a baby - and broadly predict its life outcomes it irrevocably changes your view of society, merit, equality, etc.

The liberal take on "trans" issue is straightforward: let people express themselves however they want, within reason. However, it stops thereβno legal accommodations, no mandates requiring people to use certain words, nor prohibiting them from using or them, etc.

I donβt like Harris. I donβt think sheβs the best person we have, but circumstances, some calculated, others not, put her into a position where sheβs the nominee. Since her politics align with mine better than Trumpβs do, and I think heβs unfit, Iβm voting for her. Thatβs it.
