India is one of the most hostile countries for women, esp Dalit women. The aggression Modi's supporters (mostly male) have shown towards GT, Rihanna et all is perfectly in proportion to how aggressive they are to Indian women. This episode is a peak into India's #RapeCulture

Today is a day of mourning. For me, the prisons that lodge our poets, profs,activists & journalists are holier than the land on which temples stand. As a Hindu, I'm ashamed. As a citizen, I'm appalled at this spectacle made for live television- in the middle of a pandemic.
