You’ve heard of elf on the shelf but have you heard of getting out of the left lane?

Meet Griffin. 👋 He’s clocking out after finishing another 15-hour shift. We’re incredibly grateful for Griffin and all of our snowplow drivers across the state. The past 24 hours have been a bit crazy, but our crews tackled the snow like true pros.

A little disappointed the design committee chose not to include the state flower on the new Utah flag. This is what we proposed. Smh.
Graphic of the new Utah state flag with the state flower, a traffic barrel, replacing the beehive in the center.

“I just don’t think zipper merging works.” Respectfully, that sounds like a skill issue.

Send to someone who needs the reminder.👇 Merging lanes immediately slows down traffic for everyone. Period.
With proper execution, the zipper merge can reduce traffic backups by up to 40 percent in areas with lane reductions. So by waiting to merge until the lane closes you’re actually making it faster for everyone. Source: Federal Highway Administration.

Should we paint this on the back of our plows? Like for yes, comment for yes.

Clever creativity, or needless nonsense--where do you stand on Salt Bae sprinkling out the safety? Should we put this on our plow trucks? 🤔😂

To the people who block a merging lane so "cheaters" cannot use it up to the merge point, we have a message for you. We’re sorry to tell you this, but you are not the hero you think you are. 😔 Please use both lanes until the merge point. Pass it on. #ZipperMerge
