(1/8) Delighted to announce our new results on medial frontal cortex’s role in performance monitoring and cognitive control! Neurons formed domain-general representations of errors, conflict, and conflict probability, while preserving task-specific info. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Delighted our latest finding! We discovered that abstract representations emerge in the human hippocampus when learning to perform inference. This change in neural geometry is due to disentanglement of discovered latent and observable variables. @Nature nature.com/articles/s4158…

How are memories retrieved when needed? We show memory-choice & taskset cells in human MFC, rapid reconfiguration of MTL->MFC interactions, and neural geometry changes when switching between memory vs. categorization decisions. @JMinxha @StefanoFusi2 science.sciencemag.org/content/368/64…

Thrilled to announce our latest progress in understanding human episodic memory - cognitive boundaries mark when episodes start and end, thereby providing anchors for what is encoded and for reinstatement during retrieval.

Delighted to announce our latest paper. We discovered single-cell correlate of theta-gamma PAC. Hippocampal PAC cells participate in control of WM through information-enhancing noise correlations and long-range frontal interactions. @Nature @CedarsSinai nature.com/articles/s4158…
