300 tuna sandwiches and 100 cans of tuna. That’s what we brought to city law firm, Devonshire Solicitors, to protest the sacking of Gabriela, an outsourced migrant cleaner and UVW member on grounds of "theft" of a £1.50 Tesco tuna sandwich.

UVW's office has been targeted in a break-in!
Overnight, laptops, essential equipment and other valuables worth several thousands of pounds were stolen, disrupting critical support for low-paid, migrant and precarious workers.

Hundreds of workers at Harrods have voted en masse to strike over Christmas, with a huge 95% yes vote in favour, after the luxury store refused them a Christmas bonus and improved working conditions, while handing millionaire payouts to its owners. 🔥
Legal action will be taken against the individual security guards and Harrods itself.
Day three of the Harrods' workers strike begins on Boxing Day, Thursday 26th December.

Several security guards attempted to conceal their SIA badges and SIA numbers after the assault in an attempt to avoid being identified in breach of the law and SIA regulations.
We will be taking legal action against @Harrods for these assaults on the picket line against one of our Union officials that ended in her being admitted to hospital
