At the U.S. Naval War College commencement ceremony, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle reminded graduates that strategic advantage begins with people—leaders who can think clearly, act decisively, and fight effectively in uncertainty.
They highlighted Competence, Character, and Confidence as the foundation of readiness, challenging future leaders to reduce distractions, focus on what matters most, and build warfighting excellence through rigorous training and high standards.
During their visit, they emphasized that while technology provides capability, readiness comes from Sailors trained to employ it and from the families whose support keeps our force ready to answer the Nation's call.
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy John Perryman visited the Surface Warfare Schools Command to engage with the officers and Sailors developing the skills required to lead at sea and prevail in combat.
CNO welcomed guests to the Navy Memorial’s Concert on the Avenue, featuring the talented Sailors of the U.S. Navy Band. Through music and outreach, they strengthen connections while representing the Navy’s commitment to service and excellence.
