Community engagement remains at the forefront of the #Ebola response. In affected districts across the #DRC, over 1,500 community health workers & mobilizers have been trained & deployed to strengthen surveillance, early detection, referrals & safer behaviours at community level.

Ebola has left over 130 children orphaned in eastern DRC. Our teams in Ituri have met children who have lost their mothers & in some cases both parents to Ebola. To better protect children, we need access & resources to reach every affected community.
