- There are no words that can capture our shock and grief this evening. For now, we will simply say, to our friends at UNCC and to our students and employees with ties to the Charlotte area: We are with you.
- At a campus vigil this evening, students Nick Pianovich and Bowman McCoy, both of whom hail from the Charlotte area, led the assembled crowd in expressing their support for our UNCC family. This is what Seahawks do.
- Hoping our students & employees have fared well so far. We will remain closed until we can access campus to assess damage. We expect to announce a date after this wknd. We'll offer as much notice as possible. Stay strong, Seahawks.
