Since last Friday, I have moved from my place in KC, moved into our place in Rockford, started preseason with the team and asked one AMAZING question... Happy Friday, you guys!
Alright, I guess it’s time I start bragging about @RVC_Athletics@rvcgoldeneagles and our beautiful campus & facilities. Have seen other schools post “best JUCO facilities”, “most beautiful campus”, etc but I think that ends with us here at RVC. I may be biased. #RockOn🦅
It’s tough to earn playing time.
Because you work hard, doesn’t mean the other guy didn’t
Because you had a good day, doesn’t mean the other guy didn’t
Because you out played them one day, doesn’t mean you out play them everyday
Consistently is CRITICAL, be an everyday guy!
If you don’t believe in playing off of 2 feet in the paint, watch Jimmy Butler and Jamal Murray. Under control, using shot fakes and pivots to create angles to score or pass, EFFICIENT.

I am excited to be a part of a great school, athletic department and program. Ready to get to work with the returners and round out the 2019 recruiting class. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and those that have helped me along my journey. #RockOn
The one thing I was not ready for at the JUCO level was the amount of walk ins, emails & phone calls you get of people that think they can just join the team.
No high school experience, last played in middle school, “my Sunday league teammates say I’m good”, when are tryouts???
Our season officially came to an end today. We did not receive an at-large bid for the tournament. Extremely proud of our student-athletes this year, they made my first season a great one. A big thanks to Coach Hicks & Coach Kluzak for all they did/do for the program #RockOn🦅
JUCO’s: I hate the stigma Juco gets. It’s an unfair judgement, we do everything a 4yr does.
Also JUCO’s: Don’t have updated rosters or head shots on website. Don’t upload stats from their games. Don’t film their games.
Excited to being working with Craig Doty at Emporia State University! Ready to build a contender in the MIAA. Going to be great building it with my good friends Evan Lavery and Chase Dippel. #StingersUp
Guys moved to town, had our first team meeting in August, have our return to play policy in place...things are moving along. About time to get back to work!
