✉️ At the end of my first official day in Parliament I have written to Thames Water CEO about the pollution in our River Ver. 💩 This damage to our chalk streams cannot go on and I thank local groups, including the Ver Valley society, for their hard work on this issue.

I’m glad to have voted to stop Farage’s plans to undermine our Human Rights Leaving the ECHR would undo hard-won British rights - freedom of expression, right to investigations & more - not stop small boat crossings. Real solutions need international cooperation, not isolation

The Lib Dem manifesto includes a pledge to create a new Blue Flag status for rivers. I'm passionate about protecting our local chalk streams, rivers and canals from #sewage discharges. This Tory government has allowed water firms to get away with sheer environmental vandalism.
