As part of our commitment to tackle ASB, we organised lots of events for ASB Awareness Week with our partners. The council’s ASB team, THEOs and Poplar Harca took part in a joint event at Bromley Recreation Ground behind Bromley By Bow Centre raising awareness around ASB.

We want to stop ASB affecting our communities. As part of ASB Awareness Week last week, we held an engagement session with police in Whitechapel, giving residents information on how to report ASB and offering support and practical help.

We are working with police to tackle ASB. During ASB Awareness Week last week, we held traffic operations in East India Dock Road, Brick Lane and Whitechapel Road, resulting in seizure of 4 cars, 6 mopeds, 11 e-bikes and 7 e-scooters, 18 drivers reported and 4 arrests.

Lead member for community safety cllr Kabir Ahmed attended an event in Bazeley Street, Poplar, for Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week, along with police and THEOs. They engaged with residents about where ASB is taking place and how to report it.
