I’ve learned to make sure they know we see them, their growth, & they know the reason we hold them accountable is because we care. Called timeout in the first to tell them we were proud of their growth. When this one fouled out after her best game in 2 years she deserved a hug.

Wanted it for them. Fought hard after a slow start & McComas showed why she’s a star freshmen but a good team beat us. It’s a sad moment especially for seniors there’s nothing I can say to take that away except I love them, the best is yet to come for them & never stop believing

Tonight we set goals for the season, discussed our Together core value learning the importance of selflessly investing in each other, we>me, identified roles so we can support each other in them, learned that Body Language Speaks and identified a trigger reset to hold each other

THIS ⬇️ is why I love this squad. They just lost in the championship after battling #togethertough all weekend with 6 players for half the weekend so exhausted & their eyes were still locked in for post game about Accountabilty and Toughness and how proud we were of them 💙 💛

Enjoyed sharing the court with the 17UA Rise and 15UA Rise squads this spring and watching them grow as they chased their next level dreams. Love them for wanting to be pushed, for their grit, for never backing down, for being ALL IN and can’t wait to get them back in July

It was nice having a weekend to rest recharge and reflect. Boy do I miss this squad already. Only regret is we only got one season together. I’ll never forget after a tough weekend at the start of the season they told me to stop being soft on them and they wanted and needed
